1. Scope
These terms apply to all contracts between irespect LTD ("Provider") and the Client for cremation, embalming, and international funeral repatriation services. By placing an order, the Client accepts these terms.
2. Services
- Cremation and urn transport (international)
- Embalming and coffin transport (zinc-sealed, IATA-compliant)
- Obtaining all required documents (death certificates, consular clearance, mortuary passport)
- Coordination with local authorities, embassies, and funeral homes
3. Contract Formation
The contract is concluded upon written or verbal order and our confirmation. For distance contracts (EU Directive 2011/83/EU), the Client has a right of withdrawal within 14 days, except where services have already commenced with explicit consent.
4. Client Obligations
The Client provides all required documents in a timely manner and grants power of attorney where necessary for dealing with authorities.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are quoted in EUR and include applicable VAT. Payment is due upon confirmation or as individually agreed. The fixed-price quote covers all services listed in the contract.
6. Cancellation
The Client may cancel before commencement of services. Costs already incurred (e.g., consular fees, transport bookings) will be charged.
7. Liability
The Provider is liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable, typical damages. Delays caused by authorities or airlines are beyond the Provider's control.
8. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Cyprus Processing of Personal Data (Protection of Individuals) Law 125(I)/2018. See our Privacy Policy.
9. Dispute Resolution
EU Online Dispute Resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The law of the Republic of Cyprus applies. Place of jurisdiction is Paphos, Cyprus.

Data may be shared with: consulates, embassies, airlines, local funeral homes, and authorities — solely for the purpose of performing our contractual obligations.
5. Data Retention
Personal data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and up to 6 years thereafter (in accordance with Cyprus tax and commercial law).
